FIRST METHODIST SCHOOL

Open Registration for 2008-2009

Applications for Admission for new students are now being accepted for enrollment into First Methodist School, Inc. (FMS), for the school year 2008-2009. Classes offered and times are: Pre-school 3’s & 4’s from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon; Kindergarten through 8th grades from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Campus I (Pre-K 3’s through 3^rd Grade) is located at 455 South Broadway Avenue, Bartow. Campus II (4^th through 8^th Grades) is located at 1650 South Jackson Avenue, Bartow.

First Methodist School, celebrating thirty-four years of service to Bartow and surrounding communities, offers a non-denominational curriculum, consistent with the educational requirements of the State of Florida. The purpose of the school is to provide academic excellence in a caring environment, focusing on character building, traditional Christian and family values, and love and respect for the community. The faculty and staff are dedicated to helping each child build a solid foundation in academic skills, individual talents, and strengths.

Extra curricular classes of Art, Computers, Drama, Music, Physical Education and Spanish are offered in addition to the regular academic instruction. First Methodist School offers before and after school care for those enrolled in the school, and provides child care during holiday breaks and a complete summer program.

Those desiring further information about the school may contact the school office, at 533-0905, on school days from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Application forms may be picked up from the school office located on Campus I at 455 South Broadway Avenue, in Bartow. Tours are available by appointment.
