FEE SCHEDULE

APPLICATION:  New Students $25.00 (Non-refundable fee to be submitted with the application)  New Sibling of currently enrolled FMS Student:  $10.00 (Non-refundable)

 

REGISTRATION:  Returning First Methodist School Students

Pre-K 3’s - 8th Students - $80.00 Non-Refundable during the designated week for returning registration.  After the assigned registration week period, the Open Registration fee will be $100.00 for all students as of 3/1/08.  For K-8th the fee increases to $150 April 1-30, $200 as of May 1, 2008.

 

OPEN REGISTRATION:  NEW Students 

Pre-K 3’s - 8th - $100.00  as of 3/1/08,  Kindergarten - 8th increases to $150 4/1/08,  $200 as of 5/1/08 Non-Refundable.  This fee is due and payable with the signing of a one year contract, after approval of your Application for Enrollment.  It holds your place in the school and commits you to tuition for the entire school year.

 

SUPPLY AND BOOK:  Pre-K 3’s & 4’s - $80.00 Annually:  Kindergarten - 5th Grades –

$100.00 Annually:  6th - 8th Grades - $140 Annually; (Payable ½ each semester:  #1 by the end of August 2008; #2 by the end of January 2009, or initially in one lump sum).

 

TUITION:  School Curriculum Contract - 12 installments payable June 2008 through May 2009.  Note:  Payments are for the curriculum school year which begins in August and ends in May.  A discount of $100 for Pre-school and $120 for K-8th is offered to those who pay the full tuition in advance.

Note:  Day Care represents hours in addition to those covered in the curriculum school program.  DAY CARE FEES:  Due on MONDAY each week.  Pay on time to avoid late fees of $5.00 per week.  Parents should keep a record of payments for income tax purposes.    Federal ID #59-3485282

LUNCH TICKETS - Hot school lunch for Kindergarten - 8th                 $ 2.50 each (includes milk)

(Day Care students will need lunch tickets on pupil holidays)                        $    .40 extra milk

 

SPECIAL REQUESTS - ESTABLISHED RATES:

Special requests for Day Care services may be submitted in writing, at which time a fee will be set at a slightly higher rate than for those registered in the program full-time, and granted based on availability.

 

DISCOUNT - A discount of $100 for Preschool and $120 for K-8th is offered for paying the full tuition in advance.  A 10% discount is given on tuition and day care for students in the same family after the first child.

 

ABSENCES - The fee for before and after school Day Care services will be 1/2 price during any week that the student is out for all five days of the same week.  This applies for illness, vacation, and holiday periods.  School tuition monthly payments remain the same regardless of absences.

 

QUESTIONS - Direct all questions regarding fees to office personnel during office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Please do not direct fee questions to teachers or day care staff.

 

PAYMENT POLICY - Tuition and day care payments should be made by check or money order. 

 

RETURNED CHECKS:  A fee of $10.00 will be charged for all non-sufficient fund checks.  The check will be re-deposited upon return.  If more than two checks are returned, a money order will be the required method of payment to the school.

 

TUITION is the monthly fee charged for school curriculum.  Tuition payments are due monthly on the 1st of each month, (June 1, 2008 through May 1, 2009) in accordance with your contract.  A late fee of $10.00 will be charged on all accounts not paid current by 12:00 noon on the 5th of each month.  All 12 tuition payments must be paid in full by May 5, 2009.  Payment form should be check or money order.

 

DAY CARE FEES are weekly.  Parents, you will need to keep a record of your payments for income tax purposes, as FMS records are on a school year, August through May (not calendar years).  When using the preferred method of payment by check, you will have a record of your payments.  Only day care fees can be used for income tax purposes.  Pre-school is considered day care by the government.  Our Federal tax ID number is 59-3485282.  You may claim before and after school care for Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Day Care fees are to be paid on MONDAY of each week.  If payment is not received by 12:00 noon on Wednesday of each week, you will be charged a late fee of $5.00.  If you prefer to pay more than one week at a time, keep track of the weeks you are paying for, so you will know when your next payment is due on Monday.
